Corrections Deputy

Work within the Putnam County Jail to provide a safe and secure environment for inmates who have  been sentenced for a crime or are awaiting trial.

Starting Salary (certified) $28,000
Starting Salary (non-certified) $22,000 (while attending Academy) $28,000 salary upon certification

Eligibility:
-Must be 19 years of age
-H.S. diploma or GED equivalent
-Must possess a valid Florida Drivers License
-Must pass Background Investigation
-Pass Drug Screen, Voice Stress Analysis, Psychological Test and Medical Physical
